United Mothers is a group for women who would like to meet new friends, explore different topics and enjoy themselves. We have fun, we laugh (a lot), and we listen and learn from each other.

Although some of us were born in this country, most of us were not – our members come from over 46 different countries. United Mothers provides a safe space to learn English, make mistakes and practise with supportive, friendly women of all ages.

In August 2020 we launched United Mothers Chatrooms, four online groups every week with English language conversation, digital skill development and health and government information in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We support women with limited English to understand official guidance and its implications for their families. The Chatrooms provide essential connections and support, reducing social isolation and providing links to other services where needed.



The programme is open to all women and is free to join; there are no entry criteria, legal or financial. Please contact us for more information.
