The Support At Home service provides free short-term support with practical tasks, such as light housework or shopping, plus emotional support to help older people adapt to live an independent life; this may be after a recent discharge from hospital or that person may be generally unwell at that particular time. We will do our best to help with any tasks and support older people to live safely and well in their own homes, avoiding a crisis. We also have a befriending service supported by Age UK Thanet and basic aids and equipment can be organized if required.
